2024 SEASON
The 2024 season saw a lot of turnover with the players on the team. While the squad still had several upperclassmen, the heart of the team was made up of Freshman and Sophomores as 9 of the 14 starters were 9th or 10th graders. The team improved as the year progressed but the Trojans just missed out on the playoffs as they again tied for 4th place in the region, but were left out of the postseason with the tiebreaker rules.
Players earning All Region honors included:
First Team: Kate Campbell and Emma Andrews
Honorable Mention: Aase Madison and Isla Thompson
The team also added another graduate to the college ranks as Aase Madison earned a scholarship to play at Lindsey Wilson College.
2023 SEASON
Fraker and Speer returned to lead the Trojans in 2023. Thirty athletes tried out for the team, and for the first time, the program had to make cuts to create the squad. The team was excellent on defense, allowing only 12 points per game in a region that included the two teams that would eventually play each other for the state title. The Trojans were led by Captains Zo Lucas and Erin Cain, and finished with the first winning season in program history at 5-4. That record was enough to tie for 4th in the region, but not enough to make a playoff appearance, as they lost the spot in a tie breaker. The team's highest GPA winner was sophomore Charlie Youmans.
Players earning All Region honors included:
Second Team: Zo Lucas, Emma Andrews and Erin Cain
Honorable Mention: Aase Madison
2022 SEASON
Michael Fraker took over as the new head coach of the program with Philip Speer serving as the Defensive Coordinator. The team was led by Captains Zoe Jackson and Ciara Branch. After a tough start, the squad finished the season with a 3-6 record and was 8th in the region.
Players earning All-Region honors included:
First Team: Jasmine Bellinger and Zoe Jackson
Second Team: Ciara Branch and Erin Cain
Honorable Mention: Alex Fallick and Ryan Thames
Zoe Jackson signed to play in college at Thomas University in Thomasville, Georgia.
